cuti-cuti texas - day 1

we reached san antonio at almost 12noon and straight away went to the alamo. you can read what this place about from the wiki link. maleh nak citer2, aku upload gambar jek :)


lepas abih layan alamo, kitorang terus jalan2 area san antonio city & riverwalk (walaupun aku dah mai sini, tapi dulu sampai2 dah malam, kali ni siang so dapat la layan apa2 yg patut)



kitorang lepak sampai mlm sini, siap layan imax citer the alamo, had our dinner then went to check in to our hotel 10min away from the city to get rest before continue with tomorrow's plan...

since last weekend was a long weekend for us, we had our cuti-cuti texas ;)

selamat hari raya

last weekend tak byk sgt activity, just pi shopping sket2 kat San Marcos
lagipun my colleague from KL office coming over, so just showed him around & let him do the driving, menggagau dia bawak ke kiri ke kanan hehehhehe

weather dah la sejuk, pastu ngan angin dia lagi... pehhh rasa sampai tulang

shopping sket2 pun penuh gak bonet keta :P

anw, just wanna wish you all Selamat Hari Raya Aidiladha. kalo makan rendang tu ingat2 la org jauh kat sini. kalo ade Malaysian Hall cam kat Aussie tu leh la gak tumpang sekaki. no special celebration for raya, business as usual.

since christmas pun nak dekat, my office ade buat luncheon & white elephant game
best jugak main white elephant ni, each of us need to bring 1 gift (depends on your own rules, for us any gifts less than usd20 will do) & put your name in the box. so 1st person will draw 1 name from the box, whoever the name is, the person then can pick any gifts yg ade tu & have to open up the wrap & show the gift so everybody could see what the gift is. he/she then will draw another name. the next name have a choice to open up new gift or can simply steal the opened one. and so on... but the gift only can be stolen for 3 times & the last person who got it will be permanently his/her. quite fun actually, the most popular gifts were actually the gift cards with usd20 in it. these cards keep on changing from 1 person to anothers. lucky who finally got them!

btw, i ended up with eric clapton's cd! dang!

kira nasib baik la aku tak order ikan jerung tuh, kalo tidak sure kelam kabut depa nak tangkap!

riverwalk

before we heading back to houston, we went to riverwalk to grab our dinner. happening giler tempat ni. nak carik parking pun susah giler.

kiri kanan river ni ade memacam kedai, restoran, bar etc...

pastu ade la pulak boat ronda2 river ni. ade tu siap leh dinner atas boat lagi

sempat la budak2 ni beli souvenir batu keras sini

at about 10pm we started our driving back home. on the way one of the cars was stopped by police cos of speeding. not mine :)
depa pecut 100mph. luckily they just got the warning. they said they didn't know the speed limit here. hampeh... cam la tak de tulih kat tepi freeway dia ni :)
nasib baik la. kalo idak terbang usd300!!!

SeaWorld, San Antonio - part 2

we reached there almost at 11am, then go straight for early lunch. actually not early in US, people do go lunch at 11am. not many people coming during this time, probably cos of cold weather & we joking about only us crazy malaysian going here during this time :) whatever la...

siap tunggang terbalik

since not many people around & being typical malaysian, we took more than 2 rounds for each ride hehehee, well except for the tunggang terbalik one i just can go 1 round. turun2 jer terus pening kepala aku!!!

it was great place & we were having good time there except for the entrance fee = USD50!!! dang! almost RM200 tuh. kopak aku. tapi taper elaun dah masuk :)
